ik kreeg een mail doorgestuurd via een vriend die momenteel aan de Vlerick studeert, over het bedrijf GoSTX dat op zoek is naar traders.

De inhoud van de mail is ongeveer hetzelfde als wat op hun site te vinden is:

GoSTX

GoSTX is looking for talented stock traders, or those who may want to be. You need to prove to us within a 2-3 week trial period that you possess the talent to do so. In return, we give you a very realistic trading environment with real market values and professional software for trading shares on Xetra (Xetra® is the trading system for the equity market of Deutsche Boerse).

After this phase, we then decide, according to our criteria, whether we will authorize real trading. If this is the case, you will get real capital made available to you (up to 100,000 Euros). If you trade successfully within the real setting you will receive a net of a pre-defined percentage share of profit, starting at 25% after external costs. This can be paid out to you every month.

The interesting thing is - you take no financial risk. You deal exclusively with our capital. We define the marketable securities and control the overall risk. Depending on the size of your trading account, you will receive a daily risk framework within which you can trade freely. Your mission is to consistently make money.

WHAT COSTS ARE THERE?
We pass the external costs on to you, they will be charged only in the case of success with your positive trading result.
You have the choice between two accounting systems. They differ in the level of fixed costs and the minimum fee per transaction.

We give you extremely competitive trading conditions – this is the only way you can work successfully in intraday trading. In comparison, CFD providers charge 8-10 basis points, with us it is only 2 basis points (0.02%).

Model A is for those who are likely to undertake more than 300 trades per month.

You can adjust the models monthly, depending on your needs:

•Model A
◦480 € per month for trading software
◦0.02% per transaction value, minimum € 1.50
•Model B
◦€ 180 per month for commercial software
◦0.02% per transaction value, minimum € 2.50

Uiteraard is het dus door bvb de maandelijkse kost voor de software al moeilijk om een deftige winst te halen.

Nu vraag ik mij af, wat denken jullie hiervan. Is dit legit? of een of andere scam die wel degelijk kosten gaat doorrekenen ook als je niet genoeg winst maakt? De manier waarop het wordt geformuleerd, "We pass the external costs on to you, they will be charged only in the case of success with your positive trading result" laat ook ruimte voor interpretatie. Wordt het enkel doorgerekend wanneer je meer winst maakt dan de externe kosten? Of ook als je 1 euro winst maakt?

Google maakt mij niet veel wijzer. Al bij al lijkt het mij niet betrouwbaar genoeg om te proberen. Maar indien iemand er ervaring mee heeft en het is effectief betrouwbaar, dan lijkt het mij wel leuk om eens te proberen.

Jaja, het heeft alles weg van een scam. Maar het werd doorgestuurd door de administratie van de Vlerick aan hun studenten, vandaar...
