Het volgende is in het engels omdat ik dit al eens gepost heb op een ander card trick forum.

A while ago a friend of mine showed me a card trick that just amazed me so much I had to know how it works. But he knew this trick was very nice and didnt want to tell me. I have searched the internet long but I found nothing about this trick so I though it would be a good idea to ask it on a forum.

The trick goes like this:
-First you take away all the heads (jack, queen and king) and the jokers because you dont need them.
-Now you shuffle the cards and extract the 20 first cards (thats half), one by one heads down.
-You will have 20 remaining cards in your hand, now you take away the three top cards and put the, one by one, heads up next to eachother.
-You look at the first card, which can be any number from 1(ace) to 10, and you add cards one by one from the pile you're holding until 10. (So if the first cards was a 5 you put 1 card on it so its 6, then another card so its 7, another card so its 8, another card so its 9 and another card so its 10.
-After you have done this with each one of the three cards, you have to look at the three bottom cards of the three piles you have again and add up the three numbers that are on them.(For instance: If the the first card was 5, the second 3 and the third one 8, and you add those up you will have 16.)
-Now here comes the tricky part I dont understand : Now he says the 16th card will be the ........ of .......... (this is what I dont get, how he knows what the 16th card will be).
-Now he just puts the cards all on top of each other (all heads down) from the right to the left.(so the third pile on top of the second pile, on top of the first pile, on top of the pile you have in your hand, on top of the 20 card pile you extracted in the beginning).
-And now he counts to 16, every time taking the top card of until the 16th.
And guess what, its exactly the card he predicted it to be. And it is not a quick card slip in because I also did the trick for him and just let him tell me what the ...th card would be and it was still perfect.

This is the best card trick I've ever seen and if anybody knows how it works (knowing what that card will be), please share it with me.

Ten eerste, kaart truk of card trick. Kiezen, niet mengen.

Tweede, lol, wel vrij naief van je te denken dat als iemand de truk niet op het internet wilt zetten, dat hij die u zal mailen.

Wat de truk betreft, dit is hoogstwaarschijnlijk iets mathematisch. Maar je hebt het essentiele niet goed uitgelegd.

"the 16th card" uit wat?

Ik heb je trukje voorgedaan, ik legde 7 A 10 op tafel, legde vervolgens stapeltjes van 3 9 en 0. De som van de 3 onderste was respectievelijk: 21 18 0. En dan heb ik nog 5 kaarten in mijn hand over, wat is die 16de? Bedoel je de 16de uit de stapel die ik aan het uitdelen was? Dat zou dan in mijn geval de 18de zijn, of de 21ste? Nogal moeilijk als ik er maar 20 heb e.

Of bedoel je de 16de uit die andere 20 die opzij gelegd werd? Ook de oplossing van een bepaalde situatie zou handig zijn om dit op te lossen.

Pas wel op, veel van die card tricks doen ze met een stacked deck.

Ik begrijp uw uitleg niet volledig.

Ok, ik leg uit wat jullie niet begrijpen.
Je had 20 kaarten op tafel op een hoop liggen, je had 20 kaarten in je hand op een hoop(alles bovenkant naar beneden).
Van de 20 kaarten die in je hand liggen, neem je er 3 af , een voor een en leg ze op tafel naast elkaar. Bij jou waren die drie kaarten: een 7, een A (1) en een 10.
Dus op de 7 leg je 3 kaarten bij 1 voor 1, op de aas 9 en op de 10 niks.
Nu tel je alleen de onderste kaart van elk hoopje samen. Dat is dus 7+1+10=18.
nu helemaal links ligt het hoopje van 20 waar je niks mee hebt gedaan, rechts liggen de 3 hoopjes en in je hand heb je nog altijd dat hoopje vast dat oorspronkelijk uit 20 kaarten bestond.
Nu leg je alles van rechts naar links op elkaar (alles ook naar beneden richten bij het op elkaar leggen). Nu zegt hij dus: de 18 de kaart is een ....... van hieruit snap je alles al denk ik?
