Hallo iedereen,

Ik ben Levi en dit is mijn creatie: de FrostByte Computable.
Aangezien mijn originele draadje engels was zal ik hem vertalen in het nederlands.
Tot die tijd heb ik hieronder even de originele engelse versie staan.

It will be the most insane computer you will see for a long time with so much technology integrated in it it will take a while to write everything down in this place and explain all the reason behind the specific choices I made so please bear with me

First the specs:
Dual Xeon E5-Series
64GB of DDR3 2000mhz Ram
EVGA SR-X classified motherboard
3x EVGA GTX690
1200W PSU
1PCI-E SSD
2SATA SSD's
10 HDD's
6x 4K monitors

Some of the "Extra's":
Wireless charging
Full RGB lighting (philips AMBX compatible)
Custom Passive liquid cooled system
Custom wireless keyboard, mouse and tablet

Now we got that out of the way, let me explain why this computer is different from other "computer in table" designs or some of the other mods I've seen.

The table itself will be a liquid cooled passive heatsink.
This means the table itself will have a massive 60" radiator connected to all the components.
Due to the enormous size of the heatsink there are no fans needed to cool this beast.

The 4k Monitors are actually built from 4 10" 1080p panels and combined using infiniglass (basically a lens so the borders between panels dissapear).

The case, monitors and peripherals will be using a Phillips AMBX system (please google it if you don't know what it is).

The peripherals will be using the QI wireless charging standard and the charging pads will be integrated in the desk.

The mouse will have a multitouch surface on the buttons so you can use swipe functions on all 9 (physical) buttons.

The liquid cooling will be clear so RGB DMX LED's can change the color of the water in sync with the rest of the case (or separately controlled).

This means it works with music, movies and games too like the rest of the setup.

I'm still looking for a very clear oil because it cools better and you can overclock the living hell out of this monster! 5GHZ stable dual Xeon would be nice (although it's not possible to overclock them at the moment).

If you compare the most insane configuration (10k esque) it would still be cheaper than a mac pro and so incredibly much faster it is ridiculous (I came at 12K with only hardware on their website).











Alle opmerkingen zijn welkom zolang het maar constructief is.

Design ziet er wel lekker strak uit. die lijnen doen me direct denken aan tron.

Ben in ieder geval benieuwd hoe het allemaal gaat maken.

6x 4K monitors

en elke 4K zou bestaan uit 4 * 10" schermen. is dat niet lijk totale overkill?
24 10" schermen geef mij maar 2 lekkere 30"

Most insane is ook wel een beetje een bold statement imho.
1200W psu gaat maar close zijn denk ik aangezien 1 GTX690 al 300W trekt onder load, tel daar nog al de rest bij.

Het klinkt allemaal heel geweldig (duur) !

Op voorhand het project afbreken zou onnozel zijn dus:

Welkom en bedankt om je project te delen. Wanneer verwacht je er aan te beginnen/ dat het project af zal zijn?

Het design ziet er wel leuk uit Ben benieuwd hoe jij dat zult vervaardigen Een mooie render maken is iets, hem praktisch kunnen realiseren is iets anders.

Mag ik weten hoe je die hardware kunt rechtvaardigen? Of moet het gewoon duur zijn?

3 x 690 gtx ?? dat gaat toch niet.
2x 690 wel dat is dan quad sli

Maar voor de rest ziet het er lekker strak uit

Het ziet er heel mooi uit het design, maar het relativeren met die onderdelen, denk het niet.

Zoals veel overklockers het weten zijn de dual xeon 2011 ( E5 ) niet echt overklockbaar, helaas. Intel laat het niet toe. Heeft shamino, Andre yang en de rest all bewezen met hun SR-X mobo. Hier zou ik dan eerder zeggen blijf maar op 1366 socet. Price of it zal ook een stuk goedkoper zijn, en voor preformance zal je ook beter zitten mits een normale overklock van ongeveer 3.5-4Ghz en 4.5Ghz als je geluk hebt, alles daarboven moet je all met droogijs of LN² beginnen.

Ook zal je moeten zien met zulke setup voor een andere voeding ( EVGA classified 1500W of eventueel 2 x AX1200, kan je nog spelen voor eventueel meerdere aansluiting en de voedingen zullen veel langer mee gaan, aangezien je de power in 2 deelt is ook minder opwarming per voeding.

Ook 3 x GTX690 is niet mogelijk zoals boven vermeld. Max dat je kan doen is Quad SLI of Crossfire.

Ik zie dat je Olie vermeld. Bedoel je dit met minerale olie? Moest dat het geval zijn zou ik ook zeggen vergeet dat maar. Dat gaan u pompjes niet trekken. Neem daar gewoon uit de apotheker gedestilleerd demi water en doe daar eventueel 10-15% propyleen alcohol.

Voor de rest als je dat kunt realiseren zou ik zeggen waar wacht je op. Zal zeker een topic zijn om naar te kijken.
