According to a recent report on HoustonChronicle.com, a Livingston Junior High School student was taken into police custody yesterday after he showed up at school with a homemade Game Boy bomb. According to the police, the student, whose name cannot be released because of his age, hollowed out a Game Boy and filled it with gunpowder.

The Polk County school was evacuated briefly on Thursday afternoon after another student heard the boy bragging about his invention and called Crime Stoppers. The boy, who was eventually arrested on a school bus headed to a track meet, could now be charged with carrying a prohibited weapon into a school zone, a second-degree felony.

Evidemment, c'est aux Etats Unis que cette histoire se déroule, à Livingston dans le Texas, plus précisément.
Vendredi, un lycéen a été arrêté par la police locale pour détention d'une Game Boy piégée. C'est un groupe d'étudiants appelés les Crime Stoppers (NDR : on n'invente rien !) qui a prévenu les autorités après que le lycéen ait fièrement exhibé son invention : une bombe faite à partir d'une Game Boy vidée et remplie de poudre à canon !
Après la Xbox gilet pare-balles, voici un nouvel épisode de la guerre des consoles sous un jour qu'on ne soupçonnait pas...
