Hey iedereen,
Ik heb een hele tijd in enkele gaming groepen op Facebook gezeten, maar telkens de groep groeit, groeit de negativiteit mee.
Daarom heb ik een groep opgericht specifiek voor Nintendo en Playstation. Ze heet "Klaatu Gaming".
Ik heb de groep een paar weken terug opgericht in frustratie.
Telkens opnieuw moeten we elkaar aanvallen of zeuren over hoeveel frames per seconde hier en hoeveel pixels daar.
Klagen over remasters. Bedrijven verdedigen die toch enkel maar onze centen willen. Elkaar beledigen omdat we passie hebben voor een specifieke game.
Graag was ik deel van een groep waar we het daar niet over hebben. Weg met die negativieve sfeer en focus op FUN!
Helemaal geen idee of dit mogelijk is. Maar al heeft de groep slechts 5 actieve toffe leden. Dat zou genoeg zijn.
De pagina dagelijks checken en iets leuks zien is het doel. Het delen van leuk en positief nieuws.
Het negatieve kan elders gepost worden.
De groep zou zich limiteren tot de consoles en handhelds van Sony en Nintendo.
De 2 grote Japanse bedrijven. Andere systemen heb ik natuurlijk respect voor. Deze 2 giganten omvatten gewoonweg al héél wat.
Ik post ook nog de regels van de groep. Als je op zoek bent naar een groep als deze en de regels kan respecteren.
Zoek dan gerust de groep Klaatu Gaming op Facebook of laat mij iets weten via PM indien je ze niet vinden kan.
De groep stelt misschien nog niets voor. Geen leden. Geen supermooie banner. Maar daar kunnen we samen verandering in brengen indien de interesse er is!

Reason:
Simply put, gaming is awesomely huge. We narrow it down to gaming posts concerning 2 big Japanese companies. Namely Sony and Nintendo.
Rule:
No negativity. And this is the most important rule.
Reason:
This is the reason I've started this group. I want to be in a group and get to know people. I want to end up gaming with you guys and girls and actually have fun. I can't find this all too well in other groups. Much of what they do is whine, whilst I think we live in the greatest moment in gaming to date. We've got so much choice these days but people keep complaining more intensely every day.
I know these rules might feel like they will put a limitation on us. But the truth is. If you are interested in other types of discussions. Do it elsewhere. Feel free to discuss and post whatever you want in other groups. I will say it again. No negativity.
That means no comparing companies to each other. In the end theses companies only want our money. We don't work for them so we don't have to defend them.
We don't get into silly debates comparing the 2 frames per second difference in game "X" or "Y". We don't get annoyed when games are being remade. Maybe other people have not yet played them and now get a chance to. Maybe you love the fact your favorite game is now re-mastered.
No bashing games for no good reason. We share our games here and let other people know what's cool about them. When someone posts something out of passion for a Nintendo or Sony game, we converse about it. Old or new. Dated graphics or cutting edge. We all have our opinions, but realize that others might like a game you dislike. Please feel free to debate in the comments. Opinions will always be there. That is OK. If you dislike something with a passion, simply don't comment on it. Easy as that. Calling out "THIS SUCKS" or anything like that will not be allowed.
If a game is absolutely bugged and broken. Well that's a different story, we can warn each other about that before purchasing. I think you get what kind of atmosphere we are going for right? A happy one. Once more, have those negative "debates" in other groups. Not here. We don't call each other names and treat each other badly here.
We are all about FUN. The positive side. Logging into this group should be a good experience. It's all about the games we're longing for. Getting to know each other. Spreading news and our excitement for Sony and Nintendo games as well as their systems. Ultimately it's about playing the games. So let's help each other out and let us grow together in a fun gaming community.

Why Klaatu Gaming?
Klaatu is a fictional character from the science fiction film "The Day the Earth Stood Still". This film was made in 1951 and remade in 2008. Klaatu is an alien. He visits our planet and sets before us a choice. (I will not spoil the rest of the plot.)
I will tell you about Gort however. Gort is pretty much an indestructible robot capable of destroying anyone . Gort accompanies Klaatu to Earth. Now on Klaatu's planet robots like Gort are everywhere. They preserve global (and even interstellar) peace by destroying ANY aggressor. The result is a planet with minimal aggression. A good place for everyone to live out their lives in peace.
That is basically what I want for this group. Everyone having fun talking about games whilst keeping the bad stuff out. Hence the name "Klaatu Gaming".
