GENIUS BY DEFAULT
An initiative by the Adapter collective celebrating the infamous Roland Tb-303 bass machine. The Tb-303 created a sonic revolution in the late 80´s that reshaped electronic music for years to come. The Genius By Default concept celebrates those pioneering days by inviting various artists and djs famous for their acid sounds.
Previous editions had guest performances by Somatic Responses, DMDN, Penik Ettek, Rude 66 and Mike Dred.

CEEPHAX ACID CREW (Planet mu - Rephlex - 030303records)
The ultimate acid-monster with a brilliant live-show. Ceephax Acid Crew is well known for the fact that he always brings his complete studio to his live-gigs wherever he goes. The result is a big analogue acid party with loads of 303, 101 and 909, a true paradise for Roland lovers!
EKMAN (Pantzerkreuz - Abstract Forms – Adapter)
After numerous experiments with chloroform induced comas on unwilling patients, Ekman started to work through audio waves to substitute the subjects reality. With tranquilizing bass lines and sedative melodies he has successfully counterfeited reality for a number of years.
BLIKSEM (Adapter)
Co-founder of the Adapter collective Bliksem prefers using analogue equipment. His live sets consist of particular minimal beats and coarse TB-303 bass lines that make for a slow acid groove which takes you back to the time when squatting was still legal.

PIXYBOX VISUAL PROJECTS (Adapter)
PixyBox’s distinctive abstract video jockey style combines custom-made material with animation and real life footage. A special videomapping project is in the works for this event!
