Archief - maar 24 bit kleuren in mandrake 10.0

ik heb de nieuwste linux drivers geinstalleerd op mijn mandrake, en mijn kaart een geforce fx 5900 word herkend, maar ik kan maar tot 24 bit kleuren gaan en geen 32 bit, da staat er ni bij, bij het configuratiescherm.
dan ben ik naar mijn XF86Config-4 file gegaan en zag dat er niks bijstond van 32 bit resoluties.
moet ik hier iets veranderen, want ik denk dat het hiermee te maken heeft, omdat alle resoluties die ik kan pakken hier staan?

24 bit in linux == 32 bit in windows
(dacht ik toch (da hebbe ze mij verteld ))

dat is ook zo

dus die "maar" 24 bit is identiek aan die 32 bit van windows.
