Dit is wat ik op een engelstalig forum heb gepost. Ik heb nu ff geen tijd maar als iemand er echt om vraagt zal ik het straks of morgen vertalen. Ik zou het herschrijven maar het is wat lang. Sorry daarvoor.

I got a serious problem that already cost me alot of time and $$.
I'll try to give every info I got. The problem is that I can not get past the windows installer driver part.
Situation:
It's an athlon xp 2800+ box. I recently got a sapphire radeon 9600 xt (256MB) and I switched it with my old fx5200. At first there wasn't a problem untill I installed omega drivers. They went wrong, tried to install others. Anyway, after alot of screwing around including switching around the 2 videocards my windows died. I could not get into any graphical mode anymore. (I always ended up with a blinking underscore on a black background) After stripping everything I came to the conlcusion that there was something wrong with my agp slot. I bought a new mainbord. An asrock K7NF2-RAID.
Now I can get into a graphical mode again but I can not get into windows (safe/normal), nor can I reinstall windows (crashes after drivers again).
What I got:
I stripped everything. What left is:
RAM: 1 stick, already switched between 2 others.
HD: installed windows on that HD on another computer. It works
CD: works on the other computer as well.
VIDEO: 9600xt and fx5200 give the same result.
PSU: 550W
What works:
I can start BartPE bootdisk. This is a windows driven totally by a cd and ramdisk. It works perfectly.
I can also get into DOS with a bootUSBstick. (god that took me some time to figure out)
What DOES NOT work:
Windows install: after the driver section it shuts down my PSU. I need to pull out the cord and wait a few secs before I can restart the box again. Any windows (2k, xp)
I once got passed it for 2 full seconds when I switched my card from agp8x to agp 4x. But that was only once.
Windows installed on another computer and HD placed in the broken one. Comp chooses HD. I get a blinking underscore and blam, restart.
