ik heb een asus rampage II extreme MB. De HD's zijn samen aangekocht. In de volgende
thread vind je mijn probleem terug. Dus aan de raid controller ligt het niet.
Dit heb ik ook nog gevonden op internet:
I just got this from Seagate, they say there hdd are not meant to run raid 0, why can't they say that on the site so people can avoid them that want to run raid 0?
Thank you for contacting Seagate Technical Support. So you have two Maxtor drives that work fine in AHCI mode but will not raid in three different systems. But those systems will raid 2 Hitachi drives fine.
Unfortunately we don't have any other firmware he can provide you with. Plus, the drives are working fine, they aren't meant to run in a raid configuration. There meant to run as stand alone drives, which they are doing. The drives passed Seatools so we know there working fine, your just running into a incompatibility.
The only other thing that you could try is to see how the drives respond with a raid controller card, compared to using the onboard controller on your motherboard.
if the drives still wont raid you might want to try using a Enterprise class drive such a Seagate ES or ES.2.
