We start of the episode with a flashback of last week's episode wherein Athrun was somehow trying to talk Shinn out of what he's doing.
We are also brought to the time when Gilbert was making his broadcast speech.
But in Plant, we see that some council members are questioning what Gilbert did,
and there even was one council member who denied not knowing anything about the unannounced broadcast.
We are brought to the Orb Council where Yuna was asking his father an explanation for what is happening...
* I wasnt able to pick-up what Yuna said then, but I feel that it seems that there is some connection between Orb and LOGOS)
Gilbert's speech continues amidst the cheering of the people, as we are brought to the bridge of AA
- Cagalli was saying that amongst the pictures of suspected LOGOS members that Gilbert brought up,
there are many of those from Orb. She then takes it back, saying that LOGOS is a global company,
and "what global company exist wherein you cannot find "relationships" with certain countries and regions?"
She continues her rant, "what is Gilbert thinking? what is he trying to accomplish?"
We are brought back to PLANT where Gilbert is rationalizing this actions to the council members
- all that he would say is basically what was said in the broadcast...
- Just to jump ahead, Gilbert is trying to say that he wants the world out of the clutches of LOGOS'
"war system"... He continues by saying that the enemy is neither Naturals nor Coordinators, but LOGOS...
Then he gains the support of the council...
Hah - we find Meer bored of the entire thing and just falls asleep in a sofa.
We are then brought back to AA - with Cagalli very much worried about Orb.
With Kira deciding to go back to Orb, "I feel that there is something BIG going on, different from before..."
Well, as AA travels back towards Orb, we find ZAFT forces tracking her move
- it seems that they are "gathering data about AA..."
- to jump ahead, this would be basically "fight data"... for what reason? i do not know...
Back in Minerva, Thalia and company receives orders to take down AA... And this surprises Thalia...
NOW TO OPENING SCENE...
The continuation opens with AA being attacked by ZAFT - as Murrue commands the manuevers,
Amagichi is in-charge of weapons... And Kira, does his part of help...
* I am a Kira Fan - but this time, KIRA is absolutely STUPID - still trying his best not to kill
The attack on AA continues, and we finally see Murrue's "bounce"...
The "camera" then gives cameo shots to Neo/Mwu, who is obviously worried on what is going on...
Anyway, we have Murrue question why ZAFT is attacking us all of a sudden;
to Amagichi, as well as the other Orb pilots, wanting to take the Murasames out. However,
Murrue denies the request to counter-attack because she and Kira dont want to be baited on what ZAFT wants.
- I would say that this may be that ZAFT wants AA to attack, or Orb to attack...
We then have Murrue promising that she would "take home the Murasames back to Orb, without using them in this battle..."
Back in the mobile command center of the attacking ZAFT forces
- they receive reports that all ZAFT MSes have been taken down...
And we see the acknowledgement that "AA and Freedom" are really really good.
We see Minerva on the way towards the hot zone
- with Athrun complaining to Thalia about what is going on - Gilbert's orders were to take down LOGOS and not AA. However,
Thalia replies "... though they were your friends, people change... And so did you Athrun?"
Athrun pleads that she would check with Gilbert again, and with Thalia quickly replying, "I have already done that."
And we are brought to the battle between AA and Minerva... Minerva arms its guns...
Shinn prepares to launch... And Rey tells Shinn, "dont worry... you can do it... you can take Freedom down..."

- it was Rey who came up with the strategy and tactics to beat Freedom (Freedom never goes for the cockpit,
and always targets the head, the arms, the legs, etc.)
Minerva launches "jamming missiles"...
Impulse launches...
Minerva attacks...
As Kira goes to help AA, he gets attacked by Impulse...
With only a few meters ahead (Arthur said "2000"), Minerva suddenly appears in front of AA...
Minerva fires!!!
However, AA successfully evades with a roll manuever...
And ZAFT soldiers were in awe on how they were able to evade with such a distance...
And the ZAFT commander says that everything is going according to plan - thanks to Thalia...
* hhhh... anyone thinks that Thalia is being used here?
AA attacks Minerva...
However, Thalia tells her crew not to worry - even if we dont move,
we wont get hit since AA has no intention of hitting us...
Then we find her contacting AA (to the disgust of the other ZAFT commander)...
COMMERCIAL
As Thalia gives a warning to AA (that they should surrender, and she would personally guarantee everyone's safetey) - because of this Murrue realizes that Thalia is a good soldier, and thus does not want to fight her...
A communication comes from Kira - dont worry about me, but concentrate on getting Cagalli back to Orb quickly...
Murrue then opens a communications channel to Minerva, surprising Arthur was well as the rest of the crew...
This angers the ZAFT commander more (because of what Thalia did), and he orders all available MSes to continue the attack - so much so that even Thalia questioned his orders...
Then we have Impulse and Freedom battle it out - and you guys have seen from the RAW, Shinn uses all the tricks from the books... The strategy that Rey provided him with (Freedom never aims for the cockpit and only strikes the limbs)... Making use of an unlimited amount of spare parts from Minerva, having his MS divide in two when Freedom tries to slice from below... Etc. Etc.
Of course, you guys have already seen the way Freedom took out Yzak - wherein Shinn devised a counter by separating from the leg flyer...
As the fight continues (hard to explain - better to watch the RAW)...
* it is hard to explain 'coz Im a Kira Fan, and I really hate that Shinn took advantage of Kira's "no kill policy"
As AA approaches the sea (wherein it would be able to escape), Thalia orders the Tanhouser on them...
As the Tanhouser fires, Kira gets hit, and explodes...
* IMHO, yes, that big explosion was from Freedom, because if you take a look at the waves (basically you'd find the origin), the Minerva is about perpendicular to it, so it wasnt caused by the Tanhouser...
We then have Shinn crying/laughing - he is telling Stella that I have taken out Freedom
We have Athrun shout out "KIRA!!!"
We have Freedom in pieces...
