Ja dat weet ik ook wel dat ze dat "alleen maar doen wanneer je aangeeft dat het gestolen is".
Maar ik vind het toch een beetje een creepy. Ik heb een mailtje gestuurd:

Dear Sir, dear Madam
I am contacting you in English, because I do not know whether you speak Dutch or not. You may reply to this e-mail in Dutch.
I am very interested in buying Undercover for a few Mac's in my family. There are only two questions I would like to see answered before I do so.
First of all, if UC is able to take snapshots/screenshots and send information to the UC central servers, how do I know if this action is not going on while I am using the computer? In the event of a software error or a human error, I can imagine the wrong ID is mistakenly marked as "being stolen", triggering the application to do it's work. To me, this seems like a major privacy issue. Mistakes happen all the time...
And this brings me to question number two: will the data transmitted be sent in an encrypted form? And will it be sent over a secure connection? And even more: will it be stored in an encrypted database? If not, I think you should seriously consider this option. Taken it is not already the case, transmitting encrypted data over a secure connection and storing that data encrypted on your servers, can solve the privacy issue I was talking about before. This way, the only person that can access the data (IP address, screenshots, snapshots) would be me--with a login and password.
I for one, would be very willing to pay an annual extra €5 fee for a service like this.
. Dan maar naar info@ mailen ^^.
