Klassieke muziek in filmscores zijn ook wel gaaf. Ik denk aan de Imperial March, Also Sprach Zarathustra en Ride of The Valkyries. Allemaal nummers die legendarische scenes nog meer awesome maken.

Maar goed, dit is een lijstje over pop, rock en dergelijke in films. Nummers die legendarische scenes nog meer geniaal maken en de sfeer van de film extra cool maken.
Vooral nummers die niet alleen mooi aansluiten bij de sfeer van de film en scene waar ze in voorkomen, maar ze versterken en naar een hoger niveau kunnen brengen.
In no particular order, tien van mijn favoriete nummers. Er zijn er nog meer, want ik heb wel 100 favoriete nummers ofzo, maar goed.
Maar deze selectie raakt me toch wel en dat is niet enkel door het nummer, maar de combinatie met filmbeelden, de achterliggende betekenis in het verhaal van de film en gewoon de sfeer die het nummer met zich meebrengt. Dat laatste wordt versterkt door de film. Net zoals de film versterkt wordt door het nummer.
In de spoilers, staan de teksten. Op het instrumentale nummer na, altijd de moeite om te lezen. Ik heb de indruk dat niet enkel het nummer en de sfeer ervan maar ook de tekst een essentiale bijdrage leveren in veel gevallen.
