Het archief is een bevroren moment uit een vorige versie van dit forum, met andere regels en andere bazen. Deze posts weerspiegelen op geen enkele manier onze huidige ideeën, waarden of wereldbeelden en zijn op sommige plaatsen gecensureerd wegens ontoelaatbaar. Veel zijn in een andere tijdsgeest gemaakt, al dan niet ironisch - zoals in het ironische subforum Off-Topic - en zouden op dit moment niet meer gepost (mogen) worden. Toch bieden we dit archief nog graag aan als informatiedatabank en naslagwerk. Lees er hier meer over of start een gesprek met anderen.

't Is niet dat het niveau op Spatalos veel vooruitgegaan zal zijn :D

Maar zodra GW2 er is laat ik het wel terug vallen ;)

If you’re looking for answers to account related questions Aion’s Free To Play website should prove useful, not to mention details of limitations on the free accounts, bonuses for current and previous subscribers and details of the gravy ‘Gold Users’ are entitled to.

The early signs are that new (or ‘Starter’) players will actually have very few gameplay restrictions placed on them. For example, all quests and instances will be open and available and the games level cap of 55 isn’t affected.

The rub comes with the number of character slots available to Starter players, which is limited to two. Chat, trade, mailbox and broker limitations (among others) also exist, though a relatively thorough FAQ section on the site seems to spell out much of the detail.

Zonder (enkele) chat channels, gathering, traden, broker (auction house), ... is dit spel imo wat lastig te spelen. :s Nuja, zullen zien hoeveel ze vragen voor die "extras".

Heb ik niet echt problemen mee ;)
Deed vroeger ook al amper die instances.

Voor mensen die aan de beta van F2P willen meedoen:
Aion Free-to-Play

How long will the Closed Beta take place?
The Closed Beta will start on the 26.01.2012 and finish on the 16.02.2012.

Who can take part?
Everyone who wins an access key can take part. The key draw will take place amongst all Newsletter subscribers and on several gaming sites. Please note that support will only be available in English during the Beta phase.

How do I take part?
If you win a key, we will send it to your email address. For the launch of the Beta phase on the 26.01. you can directly enter the key on our website and create an account. If you have already downloaded the Aion client, you can start playing immediately. .

What are the rewards?
We will reward all pioneers with a Veteran account for the upcoming live version. Hard-working testers will also receive additional Gold Packs:
Gold Pack 7 days + Veteran account All Closed Beta participants that reach level 10 from the 26.01 – 16.02 in the game receive this.
Gold Pack 15 days + Veteran account All Closed Beta participants that reach level 20 from the 26.01 – 16.02 in the game receive this.
Gold Pack 30 days + Veteran account All Closed Beta participants that reach level 30 from the 26.01 – 16.02 in the game receive this.

What happens to my character at the end of the Closed Beta?
All characters will be deleted at the end of the test phase, so they cannot be used in the live version of Aion. However, you will be rewarded for what you have achieved in the live version.

kheb ook een key ontvangen, het zit er idd wel nice uit.

en blijkbaar als je lvl 10 wordt, krijg je een veteran account als de beta over is.

Inderdaad, maar ik vind dit wat verwarrend:

With a Gold package all of the features of the game are open to you without restriction (just like a Veteran). You also receive bonuses which make playing the game even more fun. The more experience points you have, the faster you can rise in the character levels. You have shorter waiting times for the instances and greater rewards. This saves you time. However, this does not disrupt the balance of the game. Although the Gold package provides certain bonuses, all players have the same chances in PvP

Heeft er hier iemand nog een key voor mij? Men examens zijn juist gedaan en wil het wel nog is spelen :p
