For the fourth year in a row, we are proud to present STEP ONE,
A massive Open Air fest in a nice rural setting. Once again we're preparing to invade Malderen and shake the earth with the same familiar concept, growing a bigger and better and badder each year.

Our headliners for this year have made quite a name for themselves in 2005, killing the dancefloor with massive releases like the 'Block Control EP' on Moving Shadow and the 'Monster EP' on Subtitles. No eardrums are spared when their remix of Konflict's 'Messiah' blows trough the system, and not even classic 80s tracks like 'Fade to grey' are safe from these guys. Needless to say we are extremely proud to be able to host them on our meadows.

For those who don't know yet:
Step One is an open air drum & bass party on a quiet field in the Flemish countryside. After last year's troubles with the police (for which we'd like to apologize again!) we've had to change our concept a little.
We start at 16h00 in the afternoon, and the music stops at 03h00. This doesn't mean everyone has to leave, you're all welcome to stay at our camping! There'll be an entrance fee of 3 EUR after 18h00, so everyone: come early!
Again though, we made and are making a big effort to give you a high quality party with a varied line-up at a great location. We'll provide you a fat soundsystem and mesmerizing visual effects and, most of all, a great time, whilst keeping it all very affordable.
On offer will be free camping space so the wasted headz don't have to worry about driving home and the train-massive can get some head-down time, parking facilities (which will be well-lit this time), a shuttle service from & to the trainstation, good food and cheap drinks.
