All you mnml lovers out there, polish your dancin’ shoes and get your act together ‘cause on Saturday, October 7, the latest trendsetting music finally hits Wezemaal and surroundings. This new party-concept is definitely going to crack your head open. This new music we’re talking about is called MINIMAL. It is the latest form of electronic dance music, but has actually already been around for years. It is the mother of various electronic music styles, bass-heavy and has a lot of clicks, beeps and plop’s in it. Ready to take you on a musical high.
Being bored with the commercial mambo-jumbo you hear all day on the radio and being fed up with the way-too-expensive-play-the-same-songs-over-and-over-again-parties, Teknite, being a young hipster, wanted to cut the crap and just give some quality music to the local youth. That’s why he’s organizing this straight in you face party called: In Motion! The whole concept about this party is minimal music in a minimal package. Don’t expect a great light show or kick-ass decorations… Expect cheap entrance, cheap drinks and non-commercial music all night long!
Dj’s on duty are:
Mike, local dj from Aarschot and co-organizer of the successful parties Electrocute! Played at venues like: Play 05, SplitParty, Electrocute
Soul Phonic, a talented dj-duo from Ghent who play a perfect mixture of tech-house and minimal. They have already released a couple of tracks and run their own record-label: Punk-ID Records. Definitely need to check these out!
Teknite, In Motion’s daddy who has been dj-ing the last 5 years. At first he played funky techno, but now he’s more into minimal, tech-house and breaks, although he still likes to put on a techno record every now and then. Played at venues like, Split Party, Nasty Beats, Giverfuif, Influence, Drumtek…
So you need to get out of your lazy chair and come party with us all night long!
Things to remember: Saturday, October 7, Scoutslokalen Wezemaal, Start: 21:30hrs, Entrance: 2€, Beer: 1€!!!
