It's always interesting to see videogames make their way into pop culture, but most of the times it's cringe worthy. Such is the audition of Donnell Bolton on an episode of this season's American Idol.
As the video shows, the aspiring star decides to forgo singing a rendition of a pop song, and instead decides to pay homage to to the pinky, pudgy Jigglypuff.
Result? Well, the chances of seeing "Jigglypuff" as number one on Billboard's Top 100 Singles anytime soon are nonexistent, as the perplexed judges passed on Bolton. There's always next year, man.
