Archief - nvidia xfree drivers & 2.6.7 kernel...

als ik met de 2.6.7 kernel men nvidia drivers compileer, gaat alles goed, totdat ik men X opstart...

dan 'hangt' het systeem gewoon, geen input of output meer

als ik dan reboot, zie ik bij ldconfig staan :

Ik weet wél dat er al problemen zijn gesignaleerd met de fglrx drivers voor ATI µ

inderdaad, de officiële nVidia drivers werken niet voor de 2.6.x kernel

op www.minion.de/nvidia.html kan je werkende drivers vinden :applause:

(ik heb ze zelf niet getest, maar ze zouden moeten werken)

is da normaal da ge Nvidia drivers gebruikt voor een ATI kaart?

oh en btw Psyki: hier werken de laatste nvidia drivers voor 2.6.x wel

De 2.6.x kernel heeft een optie om met 4k stacks te werken (i.p.v. 8k zoals gebruikelijk). De Nvidia driver ondersteunt dat niet. Kernel hercompileren met 8k stack.
