What is known of the 2010 schedule is as follows:

NFL Kickoff Game.The first game of the season will take place on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at the home of the Super Bowl XLIV champions, with an 8:35 p.m. EDT start time.
International Series.
Two games are expected to be played in Wembley Stadium in London, England for 2010. League commissioner Roger Goodell is in favor of having two international games played every year on a 16-year rotating schedule that would guarantee each team playing twice over that span – once as the home team and once as the away team. The teams for the first London game of the 2010 season were confirmed on January 15, 2010, with the San Francisco 49ers playing host to the Denver Broncos on October 31, 2010. The Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks, who had expressed interest in previous games and are set to play each other in 2010, are a possible matchup for the other game.
Thanksgiving Classic.These games will take place on Thursday, November 25, 2010. Assuming the status quo continues, the Detroit Lions will host an AFC team, either the New England Patriots or New York Jets, at 12:30 p.m. EST, while the Dallas Cowboys will host an NFC team, which is yet to be determined (the possibilities are the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, or the New Orleans Saints), at 4:15 p.m. EST. The prime-time NFL Network game, featuring opponents yet to be announced, will be featured at 8:20 p.m. EST. There has been speculation, however, that the Lions), ' and Cowboys), ' permanent hosting will be reassessed at the owners' meeting in March 2010 and possibly revoked.
Bills Toronto Series. The third regular-season game of the series, which sees the Buffalo Bills play in Toronto's Rogers Centre, is still being planned. Toronto will also host a Bills preseason game in 2010.
Christmas. Christmas Day falls on a Saturday and Christmas Eve on a Friday in 2010. In recent years, the league schedules a prime-time NFL Network game on the Saturday of Weeks 15 and 16 late in the season. The NFL tries to avoid scheduling games on the evening of Christmas Eve; however, in 2007, a Monday Night Christmas Eve game between two west-coast teams was played at 8:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. local time). The league may also choose to have an afternoon game on Christmas Eve, as it did in 2004 when Christmas Eve also fell on a Friday.
Pro Bowl. Although the date of the 2011 Pro Bowl is not yet determined, the game will be played at Aloha Stadium in Hawai'i. As a NFL spokesman stated that "Plans for future Pro Bowls are not final," and it is unknown whether the Pro Bowl will revert to its tradition of being played after the Super Bowl or before it, like it will be in 2010.
