From an interview in the Palm Beach Post, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh may not play together after contract negotiations. The 3 "super stars" are under contract up until the 2014 post-season; however if the NBA comes to a hard salary cap after negotiations this summer, there's a possibility that the Heat will have to break up the trio.
According to Commissioner David Stern ""That's part of the negotiation, this is very complex. If there's a will, we'll be able to work all those issues out." these issues being that both Bosh and James have signed contracts for $110.4million and Wade has signed for $107 million, the Heat may not be able to fulfill their salary requirements therefore letting someone go. If the Owners and the players cannot come to an agreement on negotiations before the current CBA expires, they will likely face a lockout much like the NFL
