Eto'o: Tomorrow is D'Day for Inter

Samuel Eto’o’s agent believes “tomorrow we can conclude the transfer” with Inter after confirming negotiations will continue.

Jose Maria Mesalles jetted in to Milan today and has just left the Nerazzurri club headquarters after a three-hour meeting.

“Tomorrow we will continue, there is going to be another meeting and we have some work still to do,” the agent told Sky Italia cameras.

“I am optimistic and I think that a deal is close, even if it will take a while for us to get a signature on the contracts.”

There were reports today that Eto’o would be cut out of the deal completely after demanding £10m per season wages plus a £4.3m golden handshake from Barcelona.

Instead, the Spaniards would offer the loan of Aleksandr Hleb and £65m in cash.

“Eto’o wants Inter and he is happy to come to Inter. We have made big steps forward compared to yesterday,” added Mesalles.

“We are not at the end yet, but tomorrow we can conclude the transfer.”

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has upwards of £60million to spend on new players this summer, according to a spokesman for the Glazer family.

United have been criticised over their failure to make a big summer signing while neighbours rivals Manchester City have been splashing the cash with a host of expensive new arrival.

'We do have debt service and carry a significant amount of debt," confirmed Nayani.

"But our interest payments are around £43.3million a year while our operating profit was £80million topped by an extra £25m from transfer profits.

"So we are talking about a net amount of about £60m. That's cash that can be reinvested in the squad, doing up the toilets or new carpets.

Nayani claims Ferguson is selective regarding his transfer policy and that he will not pay over-the-odds or fund excessive salaries.

"The truth is a lot more prosaic than that," Nayani continued.

"The delay is because the manager has not been able to locate the players that he believes fit into the Manchester United mindset, ones that are motivated to play for United.

"You don't want mercenaries ... to pay over the odds for players not willing to give their all for the club."

Het is gebeurd en een ban van 12 uur aan menne rekker. Post die ze ervoor uitkozen is dan nog nen beleefde. Khad Arifiene een zuur mens genoemd. (met de nuancering dat het best helemaal anders kan zijn in't echt) Om het tegendeel te bewijzen heeft ze maar liefst 4 mails met kinderachtige beledigingen/koppigdoenerij gestuurd. Al bij al zeer vermakelijk voor bij de studiepauzes te lezen.

Bij m'n volgend uitstapje naar een ander subforum ga ik toch proberen dat mens te negeren.
