Gattuso: Milan incomplete
Gennaro Gattuso agrees with Coach Leonardo that Milan “are missing something” in every area of the team.
While the club continues to maintain its transfer strategy is sound and only a centre-forward is required – if at all – the murmurs within the locker room give a very different story.
“Up until the transfer deadline on August 31, we will hope for a present from our President,” Gattuso told Sky Italia television.
“We still need a striker and a full-back. This team is not set for the scrapheap, but if someone else arrives then we can do well. We’re still missing something.”
Leonardo also complained that the Rossoneri needed two more signings to be competitive, especially after Kaka was sold to Real Madrid for £60m.
“I was not so surprised at the sale, seeing as the club needed to raise funds and balance the books,” continued Gattuso.
“It’s a shame, as Kaka was one of the greatest ever players to wear the Milan jersey. But we must move forward.”
