Shout Box installation instructions

This shoutbox will work for PHP-Nuke v6.5 to 7.1+
1) REMOVE OLD: Remove all old files, blocks, images, and directories when upgrading from v3.5. Do not use
this shout box in conjunction with any other shout box. Use the upgrade SQL if upgrading from previous versions.
By using the upgrade SQL, you can upgrade from the quiecom shout block to this shout box without losing your shouts in the database.
2) SQL:
-NOTE: using the .sql installer in phpMyAdmin has proven to work better. If you have issues with the shout box when using the .php file, try the .sql files.
-There are both upgrade and full install directories in the SQL directory. Choose appropriately.
-Configure SQL using one of the 2 methods, but not both:
a) use the Shout_Box.sql in phpMyAdmin (this file assumes your prefix is nuke, if it is something else do a search & replace nuke with your prefix)
b) upload shout_box_sql_install.php to server and run the file on your browser at
http://www.yoursite.com/shout_box_sql_install.php
-if you did step 2b, delete the sql php files from the server (security issue!)
-See /sql/Upgrade/readme.txt for further info.
3) LANGUAGE FILES: Do not overwrite your lang-xxx.php files! There are 2 language files you need to edit, then upload.
Open both your originals and the ones in this zip file in a text editor like KATE or Notepad. Do not use Word.
Copy the definitions that come with this script to your originals. Save and upload your originals.
At this point, if you are using a language other than english, you'll need to create your own definitions.
2 language areas:
-/admin/language/lang-english.php (This is for the admin area)
-/language/lang-english.php (This is for the block)
4) UPLOAD FILES: Upload files within the html directory to your website/server. The files are within the
directories that they should be placed in on your server.
5) THEME IMAGES: See readme.txt within the 'theme images' directory.
6) THEME COLORING: See readme.txt within the 'theme coloring' directory.
7) ADMIN SETTINGS:
-Log into phpnuke as an administrator
-Go to Blocks and activate Shout Box
-Go to Modules and activate Shout Box (set to the same permissions as the block portion).
-Go to the Shout Box icon within the admin panel and set your preferences.
