Één van mijn grote favorieten . Reeds al een ander soloproject gepost van een van hun leden. Een Britse band bestaande uit hoofdzakelijk Peter Kember en Jason Pierce (later bekend van Spiritualized) en andere roterende leden. Een kort bestaan maar voor de rest invloedrijke band.

Hieronder het hypnotiserende, licht psychedelische, oneindig doorgaand maar vooral geweldige Suicide uit 1988. Tevens een eerbetoon aan de gelijknamige band Suicide. Live kon het soms tot een halfuur duren.

A few years ago, Steven Shade found himself alone in a hotel room when church bells started ringing outside. Inspired by the chimes, he sat down at his computer and tried to recreate them only using the digital tools at his disposal. The result can be heard at the start "Concreté Misery", the title track from the 31-year-old's debut album as Sevendeaths. But whereas bell tones are usually open and uplifting, they turn corroded and staticy in Shade's hands, as if filtered through an empty phone line. The droning pulses were an apt reflection of the Edinburgh producer's lonely mindstate at the time, as he was drifting from faceless UK town to faceless UK town as part of his job as a software developer.

Snarky Puppy is an American instrumental ensemble led by bassist Michael League. Snarky Puppy combines a variety of jazz idioms, rock, world music, and funk and has won four Grammy Awards. Although the band has worked with vocalists, League described Snarky Puppy as "a pop band that improvises a lot, without vocals".
