Na dik jaar en half nog eens opgestart.
Na er zo lang uit te zijn speelt het toch wel wat onwennig.
Veel nieuw in het spel. S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is anders waardoor je makkelijk kan respec´en en verschillende builds kan opslaan om tussen te switchen.
Nog een nieuwe uitbreiding op de story (Steel rein?)
Ash heap is aangepast, nuka world on tour is daar neergeplant met allerlei nieuwe missies, events, region-boss.
Vandaag eens een expedition geprobeerd in the pitts. Neemt toch wat tijd in beslag. Enkele erg korte opdrachtjes uitvoeren voor je nog maar naar Pittsburg kan vertrekken. Eens daar toch best pittig, ik heb geen OP-build. Maar met een fire team toch nog goed door geraakt.

Wie start het nog eens op? Kga het tijdens de vakantie nu toch wel ff blijven spelen

5 december een grote uitbreiding met een gloednieuwe locatie: Atlantic City.

Ik heb het daadwerkelijk gekocht omdat ik zo'n grote fan was van de oorspronkelijke serie. En eigenlijk staat het na al die jaren wel relatief "op punt" zonder al te veel bugs. For all intents and purposes functioneert het spel zoals het moeten. Maar helaas pakte mij het niet. Ik hou van immersive spellen en in de atmosfeer opgaan. Bij Fallout 76 wordt die illusie redelijk snel doorprikt zodra je iets van multiplayerelementen tegenkomt. Is niet de fout van het spel, maar is gewoon niet waar ik naar op zoek was en had het pas door toen ik het gekocht had.

Voortaan kun je ook vissen.

Kick back and cast away with the new fishing feature, where you can fish anywhere you can swim! To get started, head on over to Fisherman’s Rest to unlock your first Fishing Rod. Combine different types of baits and mod your Rod to lure over thirty types of fish, including some elusive Local Legends. Host a wasteland cookout to share new recipes, display your trophies at your C.A.M.P. or feed the enigmatic Linda Lee for Legendary rewards.

Volgend jaar een "nextgen" release voor PS5 en Xbox Series X|S.

Early next year, a native version of Fallout 76 will be coming to Xbox Series S and X and PlayStation 5. This update will take full advantage of their hardware capabilities.

2 december alvast een nieuwe update Burning Springs.

Nog deze maand in beta voor PS5 en Xbox Series X|S.

We’re excited to announce that during the month of June we will be kicking off public testing of the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5/Pro versions of the game. Available to everyone who owns Fallout 76, you will be able to download the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 test versions from the Xbox and PlayStation Stores.

Once testing is completed, we plan on releasing the update later this summer!

Here is a list of features you can expect when playing on your Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PS5 Pro:

• Targeted 60 FPS across Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PS5 Pro.
• Improved draw distances.
• Improved shadows.
• 4K resolution (on compatible displays) on Xbox Series X, Xbox One X, PS5 Pro.
• VRR (on compatible displays) on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, PS5 Pro.
• PS5 and PS4 Pro will support 1440p while previous generation platforms will continue to support 1080p.

Hmm, daar wil ik het resultaat wel eens van zien. Ik heb het erg graag gespeeld maar grafisch begon dat toch wel ermbarmelijk achter te zitten op ps4.
Is nu al een 4 jaar geleden dat ik nog gespeeld heb denk ik. Zal al veel bijgekomen zijn. Ben gestopt toen expeditions er waren bijgekomen.
