Some advocacy news not known to the general public....
1 ID post command is currently in the process of making a proposition for an army wide ban on vaping. This is very serious. These people are way less educated on vaping than the FDA or anyone in DC. If they move forward, this is not something that wil be constantly postponed like the deeming regulations have been. This is something very real and can be enforced almost overnight. As of now, the vision on vaping from command is ecigarettes explode, and that its still smoking. End of story. They do not take it upon themselves to do any kind of research, talk to any of the vapers out here, or anything. Being i am only a SPC, its not exactly realistic for me to walk into the Generals office and start presenting my case and begin educating. Ive gotten in contact with stefan and will with cohen about this already and pending a reply. Just like any issue we have with regulation, it takes a full community to act. There are already cases of people denied vaping. A SGT that i will not name due to his location and the fact they arent supposed to be in country, is not allowed to use his devices. Since in country, hes already gone back to tobacco use. The military is slamming hard on us. Just as hard if not harder than the FDA. The problem with regulations in the military, again, is they can be created at the snap of some Generals finger. We need help. I dont really know what to do but it will cause hundreds of thousands of people to be instantly ripped out of vaping completely, again, literally overnight.
we definitely need it. even if an overnight ban happens, i guess im losing rank because ill be damned if i go back to smoking. alot more info will be exposed in the upcoming months. im not sure what can be done now, but just know there will be a massive upcoming campaign for an anti-ban
