hier dus -enkele- argumenten. Ze zijn in't engels want ze komen van de paleoseti site van een kennis. Voor meer info, bewijs en argumenten zie

Erich von Däniken made mistakes
*In his "Chariots of the Gods" Erich von Däniken certainly made some mistakes and unreasonable assumptions, but this of course does not mean that the entire book is wrong! The flaws were caused by inexperience and lack of accurate information. There are still many correct and valid arguements, as over 30 years of research has showed.
*Erich von Däniken gladly admits his mistakes and wrote a correction in his later books. With the money and resources now available anything he writes about can be thoroughly examined to avoid flaws.
*Many skeptics for some reason try to make the errors in 'Chariots of the Gods' a whole lot larger than they actually are. They ignore the fact that Dr. von Däniken corrected and admitted them and, even worse, ignore all the valid arguements!
*The arguments are no longer used in PaleoSETI, were quickly corrected and are only minor indicators when compared to the countless good arguments. Examples are the iron pillar in Delhi and the small island 'Elephantis', they are no longer used and never were key arguments.
PaleoSETI is not scientific
*PaleoSETI uses arguments from a wide array of scientific fields, with mainly Archaeology and Cultural Antropology. PaleoSETI research into for example the Nazca lines is just as valuable as all other theories about Nazca - of which none have been prooven and the PaleoSETI theory is supported by many facts and could hold the only explanation for many mysteries.
*PaleoSETI researchers did excellent work in 'experimental archaeology' by replicating the ancient airplanes from Colombia and reconstructing the story of Ezekiel.
*what is science? The discussion about what science is seems endless.
*Should we use the confirmation principle? Every mysterious artifact showing advanced technology and every myth telling about Gods in vehicles would confirm the PaleoSETI theory to some extent, so it already has a whole lot of confirmations.
Vimanas are science fiction
*The stories from India are very clear and give many technological details which is exactly why they cannot be science fiction.
*The people in ancient India supposedly never saw any machines - so not only did they never see flying vehicles but they also never saw any cars, trains, engines or any sort of advanced technology. So unlike our science fiction writers they did not have a starting point to work from.
*It is of course ridiculous to assume that these people - who had never seen machines - would fantasize about technology and give remarkably accurate descriptions of machines. Among the details even the use of mercury for fuel is mentioned, apart from the usual notion that the vehicles make a lot of noise and smoke next to causing fire upon launch.
*Apart from the impossibility of people who had never encountered technology suddenly thinking this all up and the incredible details, there is also the fact that all is told as it were truth and not as just another story.
*PaleoSETI is a very serious theory and there is a whole lot of serious research into the field. There is no reason not to call PaleoSETI scientific.
