While moving at great speed throught the forest, Asuma is talking with Shikamaru. He's thankful for Shikamaru worrying about him, but the reason he quit smoking isn't because of Chiriku.
Asuma's words caught the attention of Koketsu and Izumo as well as their captain continues, telling that Akatsuki must be highly skilled to take out Chiriku that easily. He tells them to be on their guard all the time and all three look at Asuma sensei, fully understanding how serious this is.
At the bounty station, Kakuzu is leaving, being followed by the bald guy. He admit Hidan is no good for earning cash, but there's no one else who can stick around Kakuzu. That's enough reason for him. After the bald guy gets curious, Kakuzu explains than all his other partners died.
Kakuzu explains he's very short tempered and when something is wrong, he has the urge to kill... that's why he is with Hidan. Hidan cannot be killed! As Kakuzu leaves, the bald guy is almost shocked at the reason Kakuzu gave him.
At the outskirts of Konoha, Yamato, Kakashi and Naruto have resumed their training. Yamato summoned a number of fox-looking Mokuton pillars and is in the process of containing Kyuubi's chakra, while Kakashi observers Naruto and his bunshins.
Naruto and his bunshins are getting tired, most of them laying on the ground, trying to catch some breath as Kakashi tells Yamato Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is wearing out Naruto very fast.
Naruto and his clones are having trouble to stand up again, but they try hard and start creating another Rasengan. One creates the Rasengan, having to hold it with two hands, while the other tries to put Wind chakra into it.
As they're trying, Rasengan gets released and all the clones around them a blown away, destroying lots of them... still not good. Naruto needs extremenly high concentration just to make Rasengan, but adding Wind to it seems impossible.
Naruto is cursing ... to him it's like trying to looks left while looking to the right... Suddenly Yamato gets a bad feeling. While Naruto is concentrating, trying to mix the two types of chakra together, Kyuubi chakra is starting to leak at fast rate making a first tail appear.
While holding a Rasengan in one hand, Naruto gets completely covered by a veil of Kyuubi chakra, instantly sprouting 3 more tail... This is it! Kyuubi is getting in control again. Kakashi calls "Tenzou!" (Yamato). But Yamato already noticed and performed the necessary seals.
Instantly, the fox-looking pillars grow longer and open their mouths, biting Naruto and his tails, trying to immobilize Naruto.
While Naruto is nailed to the ground, Yamato tells Kakashi Naruto will ... if he keeps doing this and he's maybe not able to stop it everytime. Kakashi says no. It's the only way to do it and the fact that Naruto will be able to perfect Resengan rests on Yamato's shoulders. Yamato understands it.
Naruto came back to normal is lies on the ground, not moving, being completely worn out.
At the bounty station, Hidan is sitting on the stairs, smelling at his clothes and complaining on how the smell of dead bodies got into the cloth after a few minutes. When he hears someone behind him, he asks what took Kakuzu so long...
Wrong! Before Hidan noticed it's Asuma, he's throwing two shurikens at Hidan, who immediately engages into the battle himself. He blocks the shurikens with his weapon and attacks Asuma, who managed to evade it.
While the cord on his weapon is stretched, both Koketsu and Izumo charge into Hidan's side with a sword. Hidan can't do anything as Shikamaru keeps him binded with his Kage Mane no Jutsu.
Both ninja push their sword deep into Hidan's sides... Asuma says: "One touched, one down."
Some blood spat on Hidan's face. Not looking like being in pain, he asks who they are...
