Translation Notes: Well, here's a new addition to the script that some translators have already included as a regular feature: the original Japanese text! Since the head cheese directed both Aki and myself to include them for your reference, here they are!
This is a more literal translation than I usually do... Look for revisions to the text in the next few hours after I clock out of work and get back home Hmm, I've got nothing else to say this week, so I'll leave Aki to say what she wants in the next update.

Plot Hole?: This is a bit weird, but when Ulquiorra and Yamii both landed in Karakura Town, weren't their signatures both blue?
Bleach c231 - The Mascaron Drive
(Yamii is on the cover.)
Translation Notes: The title tie-in is definitely the "drive" that is Ichigo launches in a speedy attack against Grimmjow later on in the chapter. Mascarón is Spanish for a sculpted head, a bust, and is most likely used to allude to the either the Arrancar or, possibly more specifically, Ichigo's mask. A mascarón is an especially common fixture on bridges or other larger sculptures and usually serves a similar function to gargoyles.

浮竹：鬼道衆が開門処理に入ってる筈だ！隊舎前の穿界門に急げ！！
Ukitake: The Kidoushuu should nearly be done prepping the Senkaimon! Hurry up and get to the gate in front of Division headquarters!
Translation Notes: The Senkaimon is the dimensional gate that Shinigami use to travel between Soul Society and the Living World.
ルキア：はい！
Rukia: Yes, sir!
井上：まって朽木さんあたしも・・・
Inoue: If I may, please let me go too...
ルキア：お前は駄目だ井上。こちらへ来る時に教えたろう、私と一緒に穿界門を通っても地獄
蝶を持たぬお前は自動的に断界へ送られる。
Rukia: Sorry Inoue, but it's like I told you earlier. Under these circumstances, you won't be able to use the Senkaimon since you don't have your own Jigoku-cho. If you try to pass with me now, you'll just end up being whisked away to the Dangai.
Translation Notes: The Dangai is infested with what's known as Kouryuu, which acts as a deterring agent against Hollow trespassing. Also this note about needing a Jigoku-cho to safely travel was originally stated by Yoruichi back in the Soul Society arc.
浮竹：今断界を安全に通過できるように界壁固定の指示を出しておいた。半刻ほどかかるが
君はそれから現世へ向かいなさい。気は急くだろうがこういう時こそ焦らないことが大事だよ、いいね。
Ukitake: Besides, I already passed down orders to bolster the integrity of the Dangai's dimensional walls. It'll make it safe for you to cross then, but for now you'll have to wait till the construction's finished. Don't rush things like this, it's for your own good, all right?
Plot Hole?: If they could do that... why the heck didn't they do that when Ichigo and the crew were coming home at the end of the Soul Society arc?!
井上：・・・はい。
Inoue: ...Yes, sir.
ルキア：・・・そんな顔をするな井上。先に行って待っているぞ。
Rukia: ...Dont' be like that, Inoue. I'll just be going on ahead and waiting for you, that's all.
井上：・・・うん・・・！
Inoue: ...'kay...!
ルキア、門へ向かう。
(Rukia makes her way to the gate.)
ルキア（莫迦な・・・十刃だと！？早過ぎる・・・！崩玉の覚醒は冬ではなかったのか・・・！！ 一体・・・どうなっているのだ・・・！！）
Rukia: (I can't believe this... Espada!? This is way too early...! I thought the Hougyoku would wake up in the wintertime...!! What's going on here!?)
場面変わって一護。
(The scene changes to Ichigo's perspective.)
GJJJJ：・・・ハッ、卍解かよ。それがどうした？忘れたのか？てめえはその卍解で俺に手も足も出なかったんだぜ。
Grimmjow: ...Pfft, the hell are you gonna do with that Bankai of yours? Did you already forget that it was good as rubbish the last time?
一護：そっちこそ忘れたのかよ？テメーは卍解した俺の技で・・・その傷をつけられたんだぜ。・ ・・一つ訊きてえ、グリムジョー、お前・・・腕はどうした？
Ichigo: And did you forget that this rubbish actually injured you? Besides, where did your arm go, Grimmjow?
GJJJJ：捨てて来たんだよ、てめえを殺すのに腕2本じゃ余計なんでな。
Grimmjow: I didn't need two arms to finish off scum like you, so I just happened to get rid of it.
一護：・・・そうかよ、それじゃ手加減は必要無えな。
Ichigo: ...If that's the case, I've got no need to hold back.
GJJJJ：そうしろ、死にたくなけりゃな！
Grimmjow: Good idea, at least you won't die too fast that way!
一護、手を顔にかざす。
(Ichigo puts his hand over his face.)
一護（今の俺が虚化してられる時間11秒フラット・・・！！その間に片を付ける！！）
Ichigo: (I've only got about eleven seconds tops to retain my Hollow mask...!! I've got to end this in the first exchange!!)
一護が黒いオーラに包まれ、そこから仮面を付けた一護が現れる。
(Ichigo's body is blanketed with a dark energy as he pulls his mask out.)
GJJJJ：・・・・・・な・・・何だそりゃ・・・！？
Grimmjow: ......Th...The hell is that...!?
一護：・・・悪ィな、説明してる暇は無えんだ。
Ichigo: ...Forgive me, I don't have time to chat right now.
GJJJJ：！
Grimmjow: !
一護が一瞬で間合いをつめGJJJJと刃を交える。
(Ichigo instantenously moves to Grimmjow's side and locks swords with him.)
GJJJJ：ぐ・・・ッ
Grimmjow: Erg…
一護：月牙天衝
Ichigo: Getsuga Tenshou!
刃を交えた状態で月牙天衝を放つ一護。
(Ichigo fires off the attack at point-blank in swordlock with Grimmjow.)
Translation Notes: He must've learned from his previous fight with Anti-Ichigo given how a similar manuever was used then.
場面転換、日番谷たち。
(Panels change to Hitsugaya's perspective.)
ヤミー：ぬん！！！何だぁこりゃ！？涼しいぜえ～～～
Yamii: Bah!!! What is this crap!? It's pretty nippy out here~~~
日番谷の攻撃をものともしないヤミー

Hitsugaya: ...Shit... (Only Number 10... and my lifted limit still isn't enough?...)
ルピ：だーからァ、1対1じゃ勝ち目ナイって言ってんじゃーん。わかんないの？
Rupi: Didn't I say one-on-one was a bad idea? Now look at you all broke and busted, don't you get it now?
弓親：・・・うるさい・・・っ
Yumichika: ...Shut up...
ルピ：キミからも何か言ってやんなよ。そろそろホントに殺しちゃうよ？
Rupi: Hey, won’t you try to talk some sense into him. I’m really gonna kill him soon. You, try to get him to see reason here. That is, if you don't me killing him right now, do you?
一角：二対一は趣味じゃねぇ。
Ikkaku: Going two-on-one's a joke for us.

Urahara: Abarai-san's got good advice... But, you're worn out as well, so I'd advise you to stay here with Sado. I'll take the field for both of you.

刀を抜くルピ。
*Rupi draws his sword.
日番谷（斬魄刀・・・解放━━・・・！）　させるか！！！卍解、大紅蓮氷輪丸。
Hitsugaya: (Zanpakutou…release--!!) Not gonna happen/Not gonna let you do that!! Bankai, Daiguren Hyourinmaru (Hyourinmaru of the great frozen hell……..hyourinmaru = the frozen moon)
ルピ：縊れ　蔦嬢（くびれ　トレパドーラ）。
Rupi: Strangle, Trepadora! (The trepadora is a vine that grows up the side of buildings and whatnot…hence the meaning of trepadora—a climber)
日番谷：！ちっ！
Hitsugaya: !****!
刀を構える日番谷。すると煙のなかから一本のツタのようなものが日番谷を襲うが氷の翼で防ぐ。
*Hitsugaya prepares himself for the attack. Out from the smoke, something resembling a single vine strikes at Hitsugaya but is blocked by his ice wing.
日番谷：・・・どうした、こんなもんか？解放状態のてめえの攻撃ってのは。
Hitsugaya: …What’s wrong? Is this all your released form’s attack can do?
ルピ：ハハッ！よく防いだね！・・・でも正直止められるとは思わなかったな、ちょっとショックだよ。意外と やるもんだね隊長クラスってのは。でもさ、もし今の攻撃が━━8倍になったらどうかなァ？
Rupi: Ha ha! You managed to block! …I’m a bit shocked. I honestly didn’t think you’d be able to stop it. Seems like you Captain-class people can actually handle yourselves pretty well. But, what if the attack I just used were to grow by, say, 8 times?
煙が晴れると背中には先ほどのツタが8本。唖然とする死神組4人。
*As the smoke clears completely, there are now 8 vines like the one from earlier. The 4 Shinigami are shocked.
日番谷：何・・・だと・・・。
Hitsugaya: Wha…what is this…
8本のツタが八方から日番谷を襲う。
*The 8 vines attack Hitsugaya from 8 different directions (from all sides).
松本：隊長！！！
Matsumoto: Captain!!!
日番谷：く・・・そ・・・ッ。
Hitsugaya: Da….****…
氷が崩れ落ち、日番谷も地上に落ちていく。（見たところ出血はない）
*The ice shatters and breaks and along with Hitsugaya falls to the ground (there doesn’t seem to be any blood)
ルピ：言ったろ？4対1でいこうよ・ってさ。ア・ごめーん4対8、だっけ。
Rupi: Didn’t I tell you? Let’s go, 4 on 1. Oops! Sorry, I guess it was 4 on 8.
意地悪な顔をするルピ。場面転換、ＧＪＪと一護。ボロボロのＧＪＪ。
*Rupi makes a teasing/mocking face.
*Scene changes to Grimmjow and Ichigo. Grimmjow is pretty beat up.
ＧＪＪ：はっ　はっ　はっ・・・この・・・力・・・死神のモンじゃねえな・・・てめえ・・・この一ヶ月で・ ・・一体何をしやがった・・・！？
Grimmjow: Ha….ha….ha….This/that…power….that’s not the power of a Shinigami. What…the hell…did you do…in this last month…!?
無言で月牙天衝を放つ一護、刀で受けるＧＪＪ。背後に回る一護。
*Ichigo fires off another Getsuga Tenshou without saying a word. Grimmjow blocks with his sword and Ichigo appears behind Grimmjow.
一護：説明してる暇は、無えって言ったろ。
Ichigo: I said that I didn’t have the time to explain.
再び月牙天衝を放つ一護、落ちていくＧＪＪ。
*Ichigo fires off another Getsuga Tenshou and Grimmjow falls toward the ground.
ＧＪＪ：・・・く・・・そ・・・ッがァッ！！！
Grimmjow: ….Da….Daaaammit…!!!
手からセロを放つＧＪＪ。
*Grimmjow then fires a Cero beam from his hand.
一護（虚閃！！！）
Ichigo: (Cero!!!)

日番谷（斬魄刀・・・解放━━・・・！）　させるか！！！卍解、大紅蓮氷輪丸。
Hitsugaya: (Zanpakutou…release--!!) Not gonna happen/Not gonna let you do that!! Bankai, Daiguren Hyourinmaru (Hyourinmaru of the great frozen hell……..hyourinmaru = the frozen moon)
ルピ：縊れ　蔦嬢（くびれ　トレパドーラ）。
Rupi: Strangle, Trepadora! (The trepadora is a vine that grows up the side of buildings and whatnot…hence the meaning of trepadora—a climber)
日番谷：！ちっ！
Hitsugaya: !****!
刀を構える日番谷。すると煙のなかから一本のツタのようなものが日番谷を襲うが氷の翼で防ぐ。
*Hitsugaya prepares himself for the attack. Out from the smoke, something resembling a single vine strikes at Hitsugaya but is blocked by his ice wing.
日番谷：・・・どうした、こんなもんか？解放状態のてめえの攻撃ってのは。
Hitsugaya: …What’s wrong? Is this all your released form’s attack can do?
ルピ：ハハッ！よく防いだね！・・・でも正直止められるとは思わなかったな、ちょっとショックだよ。意外と やるもんだね隊長クラスってのは。でもさ、もし今の攻撃が━━8倍になったらどうかなァ？
Rupi: Ha ha! You managed to block! …I’m a bit shocked. I honestly didn’t think you’d be able to stop it. Seems like you Captain-class people can actually handle yourselves pretty well. But, what if the attack I just used were to grow by, say, 8 times?
煙が晴れると背中には先ほどのツタが8本。唖然とする死神組4人。
*As the smoke clears completely, there are now 8 vines like the one from earlier. The 4 Shinigami are shocked.
日番谷：何・・・だと・・・。
Hitsugaya: Wha…what is this…
8本のツタが八方から日番谷を襲う。
*The 8 vines attack Hitsugaya from 8 different directions (from all sides).
松本：隊長！！！
Matsumoto: Captain!!!
日番谷：く・・・そ・・・ッ。
Hitsugaya: Da….****…
氷が崩れ落ち、日番谷も地上に落ちていく。（見たところ出血はない）
*The ice shatters and breaks and along with Hitsugaya falls to the ground (there doesn’t seem to be any blood)
ルピ：言ったろ？4対1でいこうよ・ってさ。ア・ごめーん4対8、だっけ。
Rupi: Didn’t I tell you? Let’s go, 4 on 1. Oops! Sorry, I guess it was 4 on 8.
意地悪な顔をするルピ。場面転換、ＧＪＪと一護。ボロボロのＧＪＪ。
*Rupi makes a teasing/mocking face.
*Scene changes to Grimmjow and Ichigo. Grimmjow is pretty beat up.
ＧＪＪ：はっ　はっ　はっ・・・この・・・力・・・死神のモンじゃねえな・・・てめえ・・・この一ヶ月で・ ・・一体何をしやがった・・・！？
Grimmjow: Ha….ha….ha….This/that…power….that’s not the power of a Shinigami. What…the hell…did you do…in this last month…!?
無言で月牙天衝を放つ一護、刀で受けるＧＪＪ。背後に回る一護。
*Ichigo fires off another Getsuga Tenshou without saying a word. Grimmjow blocks with his sword and Ichigo appears behind Grimmjow.
一護：説明してる暇は、無えって言ったろ。
Ichigo: I said that I didn’t have the time to explain.
再び月牙天衝を放つ一護、落ちていくＧＪＪ。
*Ichigo fires off another Getsuga Tenshou and Grimmjow falls toward the ground.
ＧＪＪ：・・・く・・・そ・・・ッがァッ！！！
Grimmjow: ….Da….Daaaammit…!!!
手からセロを放つＧＪＪ。
*Grimmjow then fires a Cero beam from his hand.
一護（虚閃！！！）
Ichigo: (Cero!!!)

En het ziet er naar uit dat wonderweiss misschien well eens een van die sterkste hollows kan zijn, vastroode of hoe noemen die, die waren toch bijna zoals een mens ivm hoe groot ze zijn en dat ze menselijk lijken, hoe zag wonderweis eruit als een hollow? Klein en menselijk en ik vond het raar dat ze een panel zouden doen voor ulqu die met open ogen kijkt naar wonderweis zijn hollow vorm
