Hallo allemaal, ik heb de eer om de volgende boekenclub op poten te zetten! Ik vond het kiezen van de boeken een vrij moeilijke opdracht, om eerlijk te zijn. Ik wilde graag enkele boeken selecteren die zowel toegankelijk als een beetje uitdagend zijn maar aangezien ik ook een boek wou dat ik zelf nog niet gelezen heb, is het een beetje gissen naar die juiste balans. Komt er ook nog eens bij dat ik voornamelijk in het Engels lees, verschillende van mijn kanshebbers zijn helaas niet in het Nederlands vertaald. Uiteindelijk toch een paar boeken gevonden die me lijken te voldoen en die 300-350 bladzijden zijn. Hopelijk vinden jullie er iets tussen dat de moeite lijkt.
Ook nu kan er weer 10 dagen gestemd worden.
James Salter - Light Years
James Salter staat een beetje bekend als een 'writer's writer', een schrijver die geen groot publiek heeft kunnen bereiken maar die enorm bewonderd werd door zijn collega's. Dit zou zijn beste roman zijn.
