@EE: grotendeels correct. Maar je gebruikt enkel het LOC gedeelte van het systeem, op sommige vliegtuigen moet je dan je course selectie ook 180 graden omdraaien en als de loc naar links gaat naar rechts sturen enz, andere systemen corrigeren automatisch en geven de juist indicaties. Het verticaal gedeelte van de approach is met DME of timings dus is het een non precision app.

Verder afaik, zijn B/C LOC approaches niet toegelaten in europa. Ik heb er toch nooit een gezien hier. De enige reallife backcourse die ik gedaan heb was in KCGZ (casagrande, AZ)

Dus b/c gwn uitlaten en niet aankomen ?

Die DME en pijlen etc begrijp ik niets van maar blijkbaar is dat niet erg aangezien ik toch wel landen kan ?

En de Carenado Cessna 172 is officieel veel leuker dan de FSX versie.
Volgend vluchtje zal een iets langer worden. Misschien eens van EBKT naar London vliegen ofzo.

Van Oostende naar Manston. Gewoon het kanaal over. Geen idee of het de invloed is van de zee of het gewoon het weer is (heb real time weer gebruikt) maar man... bumpy ride. Approach was niet simpel met zo een klein vliegtuigje. Toch nog goed vanaf gebracht.

Vluchtje van EBOS naar EGLL.
Eigenlijk mag dit niet... EGLL laat blijkbaar geen VFR toe? Toen ik aan het vliegen was, was ik aan het luisteren naar EGLL_TWR op Ivao en er was iemand die via VFR op EGLL wou landen en hij werd terug gefloten door TWR...

Eigenlijk mag dit niet... EGLL laat blijkbaar geen VFR toe? Toen ik aan het vliegen was, was ik aan het luisteren naar EGLL_TWR op Ivao en er was iemand die via VFR op EGLL wou landen en hij werd terug gefloten door TWR...

EGLL CTR is Class A airspace (VFR not permitted) tussen GND and 2500ft. De enige toestellen die toegelaten zijn, zijn zij onder IFR of SVFR Flight Rules.

Is op zich ook wel logisch. Dat is één manier om John Doe in z'n C150 van tussen de B744's en A388's te houden.

In de UK heb je best wel wat Class A airspace, in tegenstelling tot België. België stelt gewoon een regel in dat VFR niet toegelaten is boven FL195, maar houdt het wel gewoon Class C. De UK zegt "Hier geen VFR" en maakt er dan meteen Class A van.

Hier een voorbeeldje van hoeveel class A airspace er werkelijk is in de UK.

Nice, ik loop al even met het idee rond om ook zo online te gaan vliegen maar wat is de beste site ervoor en hoe gaat het allemaal in zijn werking ?

Is het gwn uw atc van FSX dan aflezen of is het met een programma dat de standaard ATC vervangt door hetgeen iemand online zegt ?

Gisteren ook eens FSPax vanonder het stof gehaald. Was totaal vergeten dat je nu ook aerobatic flights kan doen. Wel beetje pech gehad met m'n eerste passagier in m'n Extra 300: een vrouwtje van 64 jaar met een G-tolerantie van +2.4 en -1.2.*facepalm*

ja, enkel APP gebruiken en je komt er wel.

En die DME is de afstand tot de baan (in rechte lijn) enkel van belang als je niets ziet buiten dat je weet waar je bent Zo kun je de hoogte dubbelchecken om te zien of je op de juiste glideslope zit van de ILS. Maar dan gaan we al ver in de theorie

Lang vluchtje met een cessna.
Wat is eigenlijk een goeie cruise alt voor zo een vliegtuig?
Ik heb nu onder de wolken gevlogen maar aangezien het een IFR vlucht was, hoeft dat niet per se zeker.

FS is soms wel grappig. Als ik aan de approach begon zag ik hoe mooi wit het landschap was. Terwijl ik vrijdag zelf van die luchthaven naar huis ben gegaan en er totaal geen sneeuw was Het was er zelf +/- 10 graden

Een vraag passero: wat doet ge als ge zolang vliegt ? Ff snel de afwas ?
Ik kan niet van dat acceleration knopje afblijven bij lange vluchten...

Ik zit wat tv te kijken.
Mijn madam aandacht geven (die vind het leuker als ik FS speel dan wanneer ik WoW speel ofzo ).
Ik blijf wel altijd bij de laptop zodat ik kan zien wat er gebeurt. Ik vertrouw FSP nooit. Ik vrees altijd dat er iets mis gaat zijn met mijn vlucht en dan wil ik er zijn voor te reageren.

En 2h15 is nu niet bepaald zo lang he

Bwah 2u is toch vrij lang vind ik aan een stuk voor een vlucht. Je doet minstens 1uur niets dan op cruising alt vliegen

In mijn held factor zijt ge ook gestegen, maar dat komt door uw status op IVAO
