Gisteren ook nog eens een vluchtje gemaakt (eindelijk):
HECA to LMML | TNG VA
M'n langste en verste vlucht ooit
't was er wel aan te zien dat het al een ganse tijd geleden was, FMS goed ingesteld maar het intercepten is verkeerd gegaan, door te foefelen met de AP onder de 10.000ft eventjes kort over 250kts gegaan (heeft hij niet gemerkt gelukkig).
Tijd heb ik wat verkeerd ingesteld blijkbaar, approach ging ook de mist in.
'k dacht dat hij aan't intercepten was omdat hij iets zei van 'glideslope', pas redelijk laat gemerkt dat ik te hoog zat omdat hij toch niet aan't dalen was enal,...
Al bij al een bijna missed approach kunnen ombuigen in een toch nog deftige landing (-200ft/s), maar 'k moet dringend m'n FMS manual eens opnieuw lezen
Nog een uurtje of 7 en 'k ben C7, dan zal't de PMDG 737-700 worden
'k ben btw bezig met een toertje, vertrokken (ooit eens) in Brussel ofzo, tot in Cairo en nu aan't terugkeren via Malta, dan Spanje en Frankrijk denk ik.

Bij deze de thread weer eens ophalen met m'n 1ste vluchtje van 2011.
Laatste vlucht dateerde van 5 april 2010, 't was eraan te zien.
Nagenoeg alle knopjes vergeten, missed approach waardoor ik een half uur te laat was, flaps aan te hoge snelheid,...
Blijkbaar had ik teveel fuel mee ook, tijdens het opstijgen eventjes over 260kts gedaan onder 10.000ft maar dat heeft hij gelukkig niet gemerkt. Afgezien van die dingen wel een goeie vlucht

'k heb de smaak terug te pakken, als ik tijd heb ga ik proberen om ieder weekend een vluchtje te doen.
Klagenfurt staat ook op Fsdestinations, ik gebruik Austria Professional 2004 als scenery en 't zag er vet uit
Iets voorbij München en boven de Alpen begin je te dalen, Klagenfurt zelf ligt in een dal tussen de bergen wat het wel de moeite maakt qua uitzicht

Lang geleden dat ik nog eens FSP gebruikt heb... Misschien nog eens bovenhalen binnenkort.
@Black: Voor de vlucht kun je enkele dingen invullen, zoals oa. destination aerodrome en hoe lang je vlucht zal duren. 't Is dus gewoon een kwestie van berekenen hoelang je zult nodig hebben om van airborne naar touchdown te gaan.
Bv. met een C172 van Kortrijk naar Antwerpen vliegen, zal ongeveer een 35 minuten duren. De afstand tussen beide velden is ongeveer 60NM, en de cruise speed van een C172 is ongeveer 120 knopen (120NM/h). Neem een extra 5 of 10 minuten (afhankelijk van het vliegtuig) om tot die cruisesnelheid te komen en vul die in als de vluchttijd (Estimated En-Route Time; EET).

Ja ge kunt bij kneeboard etc zien estimated flight duration ofzoiets, maar meestal doe ik er nog paar minuten bij (taxi, en naar de gates etc...) Heb nog nooit die bonus gekregen van stipt op tijd.
Trouwens double prop enginge planes die niet al te groot zijn mogen hier ook altijd gepost worden, ben op zoek maar vind er weinig...

Cessna en Piper hebben naast hun single props ook twin-props (Piper Seneca, Cessna 410) en dan heb je ook nog de gewoonlijke Beechcrafts (Baron, King Air 200, King Air 350, Beech King 1900D). Diamond Twin Star is ook een leuk toestel.Black zei:

Qua tijd kijk ik naar die tijd die FS zelf opgeeft in het kneeboard en tel ik daar 30min bij. Als ik weet dat ik op een grotere luchthaven vertrek of land tel ik daar 5-10min bij. Dat zit bijna altijd juist eigenlijk, al is het wat geluk hebben om nog net binnen de limiet te zitten voor die extra 100 punten.
Als double prop kan ik de PMDG Beech 1900D wel aanraden, voor m'n CRJ 700 vloog ik ook met de 1900D en dat was een zalig toestel eigenlijk. In die klasse vond ik die de betere die ik ter beschikking had.
De King Air 350 (zit standaard in FS denk ik) lijkt me ook nog een goeie keuze.
De Fokker 50 van Virtuacol heb ik ook, al heb ik er nooit echt deftig mee gevlogen.
Ik ben gestart met de C182S, dan de Baron 58, 1900D en de CRJ 700.
Nu had ik de keuze tussen de IFDG A320 of die PMDG 737, gezien die laatste FMC heeft en de eerste niet was't rap beslist

Hmm ja de 1900 D ziet er idd wel goed uit, ook om wat passagiers mee te nemen, (vind het zo saai om maar 2 passagiers te kunnen vervoeren )

1900D pracht van een toestel, alleen gaat de gear uitklappen wat moeizaam ?
Trouwens kan er iemand tips geven voor een ILS landing met de beachcraft 1900D... Lukt me met een boeing maar met dit kleinere toestel heb je andere knoppen etc, en wanneer gebruik je NAV en wanneer APR ?

NAV = Localizer only, dus dat je recht op de baan komt.Black zei:

B/C staat voor back-course. Als ik mij niet vergis wordt dit gebruikt als je een runway wilt gebruiken die geen ILS heeft, maar de andere richting wel. Dit was vroeger bv. het geval in Oostende, RWY 26 had een ILS, RWY 08 niet; een "ILS approach" op RWY 08 werd dus uitgevoerd door het signaal van ILS 26 te gebruiken.
Een ILS werkt op deze manier. Alleen staat op deze afbeelding niet dat er voorbij de Aerial ook nog radiosignalen te vinden zijn, zij het wel aanzienlijk zwakker. Die zwakkere signalen worden gebruikt tijdens de back-course approach.

Wel ff paniek toen ik moest uitwijken ff. Wat me ook opviel is dat op mijn gps hij langs de andere kant wou landen van de landingsbaan en pas nadat ik corrigeerde met HDG en instructies van de toren ativeerde ik NAV terug maar deed hij eerst niets en pas na paar keer AP aan en uit te zetten pakte hij presies ineens het signaal en perfecte landing...
Alleen die f*cking flaps XD... Ik was 6 minuten te vroeg en krijg geen perfect on time bonus, wtf
